Hi there!
I'm Rene from Huddersfield, where I have been active mocking, defacing and bashing 4x4s.
I hate the things, in general, largely for reasons of fuel wastage and climate change, although they accept that they are useful for some purposes.
However, most people nowadays seem to buy them just as a fashion statement, and in this, of course, they are encouraged by slick advertising campaigns which never show people choking on fumes, cars crashing, habitats being destroyed to build new roads, traffic gridlocks, road rage, rainforests and tribal communities wiped out by oil exploitation, or oil-driven wars like the one in Iraq very much.
It's not just my opinion, and I don't claim to be privy to divine guidance. I know others who do, and who have other opinions, which is why I am going to post you details of how I like to uses SUVs very shortly, for discussion and reflection.
Please note, I find it most satisfying to bash 4x4s while they are still in the care of their parent company. I am on the lookout for more subtle methods of spreading the word, and after all spraypaint does create its own fumes, to use and I don't doubt to remove as well.
