Test drove my cousin's husband's 1998 nissan 240 today, and all i got to say is WOW!! dont see a lot of 240s in the midwest (especially in MN and WI), so when we do, it's like :eek2: he bought it from New Jersey and it came with some modifications already. Damn, these cars are sweet, i wished you guys could hear his car, it was like a rumble v8 or something, maybe even better. Drifted a little and danggg, torquey little cars, his engine was literially shaking like it was about to come off, could chirp all the way through 3rd gear, these 240s could handle corners like cake. Anyways, we were at a stop and i was in the passenger side, this civic looked over and my cousins husband looked over, BAM, take off, and WOW, rwd could launch like krazy, especially these 240, the civic wasn't even close to our tail lights. But, yeah, he says he burns hondas all the time.

Also drove my nephews Evo VIII couple months ago, and dammm...those cars could haul, although both cars the Evo and 240 had full system exhaust upgrades, the 240 sounded much better, sorry if the storys a lil lame, but i feel like i just gotta tell about the 240 today :licka:

You're forgetting what he drives... so anything seems fast. Even a non boosted S14. ;)

Every fucking post this kid makes! :banghead: makes me wanna slit my veins open. ARRRRRGGGGG!

what does he drive? a Geo metro?

and was the 240 turbo? how the hell do you not see 240s anywhere in america? I see 6 of them just going across the street for some coffee! the junk yards are overflowing with them, the autotraders have four pages of nothing but 240sx, there are more 240 clubs then there are Civic clubs at the import shows! look at the show coverage section of any tunning magazine, what do you see at every show? more 240s then Evos and STIs!

whatever this maricon is smoking, I want some! :smokin:

i like cheese...oh wait... what?

240SX's arent common everywhere in the US, there may be 1 for every 6 or 7 civics and 3or 4 integra's.
300ZX's are more common.
and S14's are especaily uncommon, only 2 that i know of, on is driven by a rice boy with no money for rice modifications and the other is driven by a rice boy with money for rice modifications... and got his ass waxed by that same tiburon that beat the Hemi truck. shoping kart wing, colorful seat covers, race harneses, and big pads along withbrite white rims on basically stock "comfot" tires and a big old muffler tip handing out the rear... what a waste of a perfectly good autoX car...one i could have used for my potential senior project (see autoX board)...

i drive a lifted truck with an amazing 160bhp and im not all amazed by getting into something like a basically stock S14... of course i understand what fast really is.

i can chirp 3rd and really chirp 2nd... does that make me fast?

Devil's Advocate: he says chirp through all of 3rd, i'm guessing this means the 240 can wheelspin through all of 3rd (which is pretty awesome, if it's not bs), whereas you probably mean chirping shifting to 3rd. but don't take my word for it, i'm just the interpreter.

CBFryman

i interpret it as, all the way though the gears to 3rd gear....

meaning

Vrooom VrooooooooooM
Clutch out
buuuuuurrrrrrrrp
wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Clutch in, shift, clutch out
Chuuurp
wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
clutch in, shift, clutch out
churp
wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

well its goin to be alittle easier to chirp 3rd in your pickup truck since those have no weight in the back.

This is by far the best kill story I've ever read here. There are several parts to the tale that made me feel like I was actually there. Everything about it screams detail and college entry education.......things such as, and I quote,"it was like a rumble v8 or something","Drifted a little and danggg, torquey little cars"," these 240s could handle corners like cake"," this civic looked over and my cousins husband looked over, BAM, take off, and WOW, rwd could launch like krazy, especially these 240", and MY PERSONAL FAVORITE and probably the only true statement in this entire post....."sorry if the storys a lil lame". A "lil" lame can't begin to describe this story....

Oh, yeah.....thanks for the headache this post gain me while trying to make any sense out of your random rambling.

Where's ACE when you need him to tell this guy what to drive his car into?!?!

:shakehead
you kid me, i guarontee you my truck has more weight over the rear tires than that 240.
Also, i have a much larger traction patch and much taller tires (275/75 16's)...
