i'm just curious which performs better on the track..A4 or M6
for ex.. 2 stock 98 trans am ls1...which car would finish first saying the guy driving the stick doesnt mess up...
and the diffrence between the et times
and also how much would a stall converter affect an A4
if you have any other info to give me upon this subjectit would help a lot thanks

Not at the strip.
If my car was a drag only car....it would be an automatic.
Stock for stock, the auto car is just a little slower. Add a stall converter, and that same auto is the shit at the track.
Auto won't miss a shift, allows you to launch consistent, and run consistent.
Manual allows you to guess your launch point, is much harder on the rear end, and there is always mis-shifts. I know damn near everyone I know has pulled the 3-2 instead of the 3-4. Bent pushrods doing that myself. I got lucky that was all I did.

I think that would only be the case with the fast cars, the ones where you would have split seconds to shift from 1-2... But I could be wrong.
