I got a MAP code on my ecu, my car will not rev above 3K rpm's.
I got out my repair manual, did a voltage test over 2 of the wires and it didnt have any power accros them. The manual does not say how to fix the problem, it just says to take it to the shop, but i am pretty handy when it comes to the wireing. Does anyone know if i can fix this, wouldnt it just be a shorted wire some were, what if i ran new wires from ecu to the map plug?

I have heard that the ground becomes bad.
So you are not getting 5v on one of the wires? you should have a ground, a 5v power and a signal wire.
I would attach your voltmeter's (-) to the battery (-) and probe the connector with the three wires and see if you get anything. (Don't disconnect anything) backprobe the connector with the (+). You can use a pin or a paperclip to get in there.
You should have a 5v on one, 3.6v on another (with the key on engine off) and a very small amount of voltage on the last 0.1v.
Try these checks and get back.

Ok, i checked it, i got 5v on one, and the .1v also but i did not come up with the 3.6v it was more like 1v... Any ideas?
I also took a Test light and 2 of the wires have a ground

If you got 1v from the one that is suppose to be around 3.6 that is a problem.
I hope the car wasn't running. if it was check it again. If it wasn't the last thing I would check before I would replace is hooking the map to a handpump vacuum gauge if you can while checking the voltage on the 1v
wire. Take it from zero to about 22in. hg. The voltage should drop from 3.6 or so to 1v. or so when you apply vacuum.
Also inspect the opening in the map, the vacuum lines and the port in the manifold. They might be plugged from carbon.
