its not that simple, i bought it from a mexican and he went to jail for being in us illegally and was sent back to mexico he told his brother to sell the car to get him out, so i cant have him apply for duplicate title when hes in jail in mexico and to get a abandoned vech title i gotta have the police tow it in and put it thru there auction so ill have to re-buy something i bought already, so im out of options.

..Besides this, someone help me out asap

All you need is a bill of sale from the person you baught it from. It doesnt have to be notorized but should enclude the vehical, vin, sale amount, and contact information of the person who sold it. I allways go though a local car lot here to get title, they know how to file it and avoid complications. This is how you can do it in texas, it is the same in all the states that I know of, but I dont know where you are from and what the state regulations are. Also in every state that I know of you do not have to have the title in order to get tags, inspection, and insurance- all the things you need to legally drive the car.

Some states have a regulation where a title cannot skip owners, such as person A buys the car, has the title, person B buys the car without the title, then sells it to person C along with a bill of sale. Person C goes to get the title and it comes up the title has to be in person Bs name before it can be in person C's name. What you can do here is Get the title in person B's name but have it in care person C (ie the title will say "John Doe in care of Bob Filmore). This kills two birds with one stone, as it puts it in person B's name, but you can have the title mailed directly to person C with their name legally on it. Then when you can either keep that and be happy with it or you can then take that title down and have it named over to just your name. Like I said this is Texas, I dont know if you can do that in other states.
