resistors for 03 tahoe O2 Sensors

I have a 03 Tahoe and want to put true dual exhaust on it. I want to put long tube headers with dual exhaust. I want high flow cats with 40 series flowmasters. The only problem is there is only one cat on there right now and I don't want the check engine light coming on all the time or staying on. I was told by someone that I know that I could splice in a resistor into the O2 sensor to trick the computer into thinking that everything's fine. Can anyone give me advice on this topic. I really want to put true dual exhaust on vice single in/dual out. If it's going to reduce the backpressure and take away horsepower then I won't but if there's a way I would like to know how.
