Well, it's been quite sometime since I have posted on A/F! So go easy on me!!!! This kit is the Revell 3-n-1 Rat-rod. So far I have channeled the body, Z'd the rear part of the frame, and suicide the front axle(no leaf springs)!

Here is a small update! I got the chassis, rearend and frontend painted. I also drilled out the front axle. Got the wheels painted OSHA yellow with of course the whitewalls going. Have not figured out the body color yet, maybe a drab-green!!!!!

I got a few things done last night and this morning! The clearence problem has been solved, made new motor mounts! I got the track nose channeled about where it needs to be, maybe channel it a little more so it rides flush with the body! The motor is mocked up, will probably start on it tonight!

You know what this is making me think of? Old, WWII fighter planes with their cool nose art. If you are going to go with the olive drab and OSHA yellow scheme, why not steal a few nose art decals from an airplane kit, put 'em on the doors?
Or better yet, paint a shark-mouth on the nose... :iceslolan

I really like where this one is going! Keep up the awsome work!

Got a few more things done last night! Cut open the vent section of the track nose and put some mesh screen inside! Got part of the motor painted! I am really liking this RAT!!

Well, I had a change in the body department! Went with the closed cab instead of the open roadster! Chopped the cab, channeled the cab over the chassis! I think it looks more pissed off now instead of the roadster body!!

No, its not done yet!! As I await decals for the '51 Chevy, I got to working on the '29 again! I put wood for the floorboard and got the gas tank mounted! The hole in the driver side of the body is for the steering linkage! It will have to be scratch-made! Still need seats and a dash!!
