Ahh. So here I was pondering my possible future. I am about to sell my trusty old stead(my 95 stang) And I was considering one of two options. I could take the 3-4k I get for it and just dump it into the dsm buying mucho aftermarket parts for it. Orrr I could just pay the damn thing off. I mean not like my payments are anything outrageous anyway, like 200 bucks a month considering I only played four grand for the car in the first place. But anyway. The reason I was thinking about paying it off, is that I might just go down to the dealership and try and pick up a 2003-2004 cobra. I mean the only way I would do this is if I paid the car off but I'm just trying to choose between what I should do. I mean, I bought my dsm as a commuter car originally and just had a perk that it was turbocharged seeing as I had never driven much less owned a turbocharged car. haha And after I had it for a while and researched it I actually fell in love with it and started ignoring my mustang. So I love my dsm, and I think the payments for the cobra may only be like 500 or so a month. But that's still 300 dollars away from my dsm. Hmm but man, 390hp and 390ftlbs to the wheels is pretty hard to pass up. haha Any advice? I need some support in this tough choice. but then of course you know you can't just leave the stock exhaust on a vehicle like that. . . and just everything follows naturally.

Sell the mustang. Take half of the $3-4k you get for it, and put that on your loan. Bang, your monthly payments just cut in half if you keep the same time frame. Then take what's left and put it into the DSM. With 2 grand, you could hit 300 hp easy, and still own a DSM. :2cents:

Well if you look at my sig that's all stuff I already have. What I know I need still is injectors, afpr, fmic, tranny crap and a logger

Doesn't work that way 98% of the time. Anything over and above the monthly payment will be put towards the principal. The payments won't go down but he will be paying less for the car (not as much interest because of the now lower principal) and will have it paid off sooner.

I'd sell the Mustang, some payments on the DSM and get some of or all of the rest of your wish list.

So I went and drove an 03 cobra today. I would like to say, holy shit. The whine of the supercharger was like having sex. It's about eight times faster than my eclipse. I took it out on the freeway and scared the dealer a little bit. They wanted me to trade my dsm in, but I told them noooo way. I love it to much.

haha. Sorry, I much prefer ford over gm, And my mustang has 149k miles on it and has not had one problem yet. So I trust it.
Ahh, I don't think insurance will be to bad. I have a perfect record and I can get insurance through USAA which offers major discounts to active duty military.

haha. With a few grand into the mustang, I could have a 650 hp beast. It'll pretty much rape anything. Supercharged vets whatever. The main reason I want it is because like the DSM the cobra takes so well to mods that it's not even funny. Ohh don't worry I'm going to keep loving my eclipse too. Just because I get the cobra doesn't mean I don't love my dsm just as much ;)
