yo honda autos blow. i know big v8s can be fast as or faster than a stick but hondas need all the help they can get. do you not know how? i was in that boat a couple years ago but man learn its worth it. its so much more fun. and how are you going to autoX with an auto?

i wouldnt trust a CRV tranny bolted to an 8000rpm screamer

unless you can find a jdm auto to import... i've personally never seen any

Neither have I??

I'd still say go with a 5speed.....you'll get a better feel for your car and benefit from it in the long run.

first off, from my research, there are no automatic b18c1's

second of all i'd really like to see an LS ecu run a VTEC motor and i'd also love to see it shift at 8000rpm. if you tried to use the b18c1's computer, it'd go apeshit when it finds out that it has to shift gears.

let's use brains here

GSR's didn't come with autos. but you can get a b16 auto tranny.

just a thought: if all b series tranny bolt up to eachother (block), then why couldn't you use an LS, GS tranny (auto) on a GSR engine??? Is it just because of the computer??? I've never understood this. someone please clarify. thanks.

I'm not talking about CRV trannies, they made b16 autos and I'm pretty sure 4dr gsrs sometimes came in auto.

yeah I have no clue why I said CRV tranny, I meant LS tranny. 4door gsr's are 5spd like normal. I've personally never seen an auto for a b16 for sale. I'm aware they exist, just never seen any.
