Same here man. Running XP too. Its like javascript-';; those symbols and crap, and it doesn't show the loading bar when you click it, its so annoying. I don't think its Firefox either, I tried it in I.E., still nothing. I turned off my firewalls, and anti virus, and pop up blocker with no luck.

If you go into My Computer and look in Control Panel, do you have a Java folder. The couple of times I've had Java problems I've gone into the Java folder and went to General tab. There is an option to delete temporary internet files. I have had trojan viruses in there. Deleting the Temp Internet Files has fixed this for me. Don't know if that's your problem.

If javascript is not being proccesed by IE its probably because your security settings are st to high of you have it disablen in its settings.
Anyway ditch exlorer and start using firefox.

Sometimes the Java software in Windows craps out as well. I find it helps to update to resolve Java issues. I haven't had any Java issues since I installed Sun's Java software.

Im a proud Firefox user myself. Tried most of the others, Mozilla is way better in all aspects.

Go to the mozilla firefox website. Google it. Its free, download it. Open it up, and start getting used to it, way better then I.E. So much better. Probably won't help your problem though.
