Hi,

We change the front struts and mounts about 9 months ago and still feels lot of bumpy ride and it looks like struts can't handle any bad road and even on smooth road gives bumps. We put the new tires 6 months back and i checked the tire pressure that looks ok. Also there is lot of noise coming from car (car is old but still was very quiet uptil now), so what can be the possible reason for this noisy and bumpy ride. (i saw the reference of spring bushing on other post but not sure if this is related.

Thanks

Change the springs. Maybe the new struts are blown, it can happen.

Hmm, thats strange that a mechanic would only replace the right mount and now say the left mount is bad. Most of the shops I use always recommend doing it minimum in pairs as when one side gives out, the other will be close behind. This includes half axles, bearings, brakes, tires etc.
Also did not see if the car had been in for an alignment after suspension work had been done. If your car is not aligned properly, bumpy roads will be scary. What kind of shocks did you get installed?

Put the monroe strut and mount. alignment don't look bad.

Depending on your model, Monroe shocks are auto adjusting. So there is nothing there.

Bouncing can be caused by bad mounts. I would have the mechanic change that left mount. I don't know how much you will be paying for alignment but you need one done after that too.
Was your car in some accident where the front got hit? Any sounds?
