Try soap, thats what I use on mine and it survives my motorbike helmet.

When your in the shower just lather it up as much as you can all over your hands, get out, and just keep moulding until it dries (helps if your near a heat source) and there you have it, instant mo-hawk. Thats how I do mine, so much cheaper and holds it an awful lot better than hair products - and on the plus side, it cleans it too.
