Headlights

I have a 1989 GMC Sierra 1500. In 1988 and 1989 they used a 4 headlight style. In 1990-1998 they used a 2 headlight style (2 rectangle headlights). I want to convert mine into the 2 headlight style. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to go about doing this, any suggestions, and about how much it would cost. I thought about going to a junkyard and purchasing the parts. I was told that I probably need a new front end (grill, headlight housing, etc.), new brackets and I have to change the wire connections. Please give me any advice you can. Thanks!!
