obd1 or obd2??

hey guys ama about to swap out my d series motor and put a b16a2 in there

some ppl said that i should use obd1 with my motor instead of the obd2 that comes with it

which obd is better???
can some1 tell me the difference between both of them

whenever swapping engines, if you change from one OBD system to a lesser system (like OBD2-OBD1) you're risking having your car impounded because of emissions testing and such...
So if you have an OBD2 car stick with OBD2...

if your chassis is obd2, staying obd2 will make your swap easier.
