blower motor question

The fan speeds in my 97 escort all work, but it seems to be very weak like theres no power to the fan speeds it doesnt run as strong as the air blows in my alero i have. could the blower motor be bad? or is it just normal to not have too much power with the fan speeds in an escort?

My Escort (94) has real good blower output. You could have something lodged in the vents. One time I came across an animal that had made a nest on the inside of the blower motor, but that also came with a terrible smell. Try cleaning out the cavity where the blower motor sits. If there is nothing there I would just change the blower motor.
