Hey yall, well i drive a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 twin turbo and with gas prices rising, buyin premeium all the time is really expensive. So i decided to buy a daily driver. My freind was selling his 85 MR2 for a 100 bucks, so i was like perfect. It has a crack down the windsheild all the way down but i'm gettin it fixed soon from the body shop at my tech school. Anyway it has around 160k on the orginal motor and runs pretty decent, i'm gonna clean up the engine a bit starting with the throttal body and the intake then i'll check for compression later, but how do thease motors hold up? any relyabilty issues on any part of this motor that usually goes out? what about the drivetrain. does the supercharger on the boosted models fit on this motor? 3AG right? what are pretty common aftermarket parts i should get? i kno thease questions are real newbish, i get annoyed wit them sometimes at the 3000GT fourm, but hey. thanks guys

It's called a 4age.

And it's a 250,000 mile motor if properly taken care of.

The supercharger from the 4agze model doesnt exactly bolt right on, but I'm not too clear on the details of that operation.

For a daily beater though, keep the engine the way it is. The 4age gets awesome mpg :)
