covering up krylon?

i am in the process of changing the interior of my car, i got a small piece out that was broken off to test on, is there anything that i could put over the krylon fusion to reduce the amount of scratching on it? i perposly (sp) tried to scratch it to see how easy it was, it wasnt easy, but it could get scratched, anything to put over it?
