are 87 civic bumpers same as crx

i have a 87 crx si and need a front and rear bumper cover. i have an oppertunity to buy the bumpers from a 87 civic sedan parts car for cheap. i was wondering if they fit. and if not which bumpers from the honda family will be compatable. need answers, thanxx

The only bumpers that will fit a 84-87 CRX are 84-87 CRX bumpers. Also, the 86-87 SI's have a different design than the HF and DX models.

a word of advice: don't make your own out of cardboard :D (pic below)
back when i didn't have a front bumper and couldn't find one, i made this mock-up of a metal one i thought of fabricating - but luckily i found one. so keep lookin, or consider after market.
