I post all the time saying everyone should make the effort to vote, a lot of fine models and talented folk enter, so it's only fair to give them a vote... Can be hard to choose, as this month and the month before has turned out some impressive models.. Judges will have a hard time..

I think due to the number of models entered you should have made two sections, a race and road contest, and awarded a prize for road winner and then race winner, with overall best of show winner.. But it's your contest, just giving you an idea for the next two month contest you might run..!!

This month is exception when I joined 2 month because of my holidays. Usually goes one month and that number of models is halfed and there is no chance to make 2 categories.

Hi Zeljko,

just like XeVeNskyLiNE and Murray Kish I saw the Modena in Motion at the last BNOM.

Do you have contact with the builder and ask him, how to manage to make these wheels in motion??

Yes, I have contact. But I must ask him can I give his e-mail address, because I don't give any BMOM address without permision of the owner.

Great,

a little tutorail on this theme would be great, then no email-adress is necessary.

tough voting this one!!! lots of GREAT modles to chose from. Just voted.\

That modena is really interesting. ever since I first saw those "in motion" PE propellers for aircraft modellers, I've been wondering if it's possible to do teh same thing with car wheels - now I know the answer. I just don't know how... :):):)

Builder of this model is a AF member:

Maybe you can ask directly from him?

Edit:
I to would very much like to know how he pulled that 360 in motion off.

Hi,

I just tried to send a mail to the builder of the 360 in motion to ask him for a little tutorial, it is on its way over the administrator.

I'd be very surprised if the wheels weren't photoshopped. You get the same effect with the radial zoom filter on the 'spin setting'. If I'd thought of it I would have done it to my Focus.

Hi Zeljko,

thanks for the info, nice link and progress thread.

As I don´t speak Italian, I guess, he airbrushed the 5-arm-star on the clear round sheet material with Alclad.
