I have a 99 Civic HB and I want to get that pesky yellow plate out of my headlight. Anyone have any experience or insight on how to do this the easiest way? I know I'm going to have to take the whole thing apart, but I'm worried about the seal. I don't want to end up not putting them back right and ending up with condensation. Not worth it. Anyway, opinions and tips are appreciated. Thanks guys!!!! :-)

99 Civic Hatchback??? Wrong forum... These G20 folk hate civic owners. lol anyway, yeah, once you get the head light off, you need to take the bumper off to get to two of the bolts. heat up the headlight. (I'd use a hairdryer). Now is the fun part. Get a bunch of flat head screw drivers, and pry off the lense. After enough heating the seal should be squishy and easily able to pull apart. Since ytou have a 99, all you'd have to do is cover it with a solver piece of antthinyg really. Then, before you put it back together, get some silicone bead it along the rim of the light, therefore, no condensation... IM me if you have any other questions. Bye bye
