From my friends at exotixboard...
Poor guy, F$%ktard's like this piss me off!
Lambo driver - Tonight after I left my brothers house, I decided to cruise up in the gallardo and pick up some CD's and the "CRASH" dvd.
Went to tower records in Schaumburg, IL. After about 30 min of shopping, I was on my way home. Headed Golf Road, Right on North Frontage, and about to get on 355 South (being descriptive for fellow chicagoans) - The light before 355 S entrance is the intersection of Higgins Road and North Frontage (Service road) - This Dark Gray Oldsmobile Silhouette Minivan pulls along side of me and throws a "40oz " bear bottle at me - wacks the gallardo hard on the front fender. Then he made a right on Higgins, and I followed him to get the license plate. I called the cops on my cell phone, and within a couple of seconds was on the phone with the cops explaining what just happened. I described the car, and was approaching the vehicle blasting redlights behind him to get the license plate. He make a left on plum grove rd, and tried to out run me by going in and out of residental projects.. I was right behind, him finally got the license plate number. We wound up on VERDE and THECKER intersection, where he pulls over. I pull over about 50' behind him. The right sliding door opens up, and this tall (either white or hispanic) guy gets out with a black gun, and simultaneously the driver gets out with a gun as well. Next, I put it in Reverse, and Floor it swerving left and right....I saw two flashes or sparks come out of his gun but didn't hear anything..then again I was still on the phone with the officer. I backed about 500' or so, and reversed down a side street. I pull out of the area hard, and i saw the minivan take off back towards higgins rd. I waited in the area until 3 min later when 5 cops showed up.
The front fender has a small crease (about 2") and after about 45 min of chronologically explaining what had happened. They followed me to the intersection. We found the bottle - 40oz "Cobra" beer..whatever that is. They put it in a bag, with gloves, hoping to get some finger prints.
They said they'll call me once they pick up the scumbags, but I told them I dont want to disclose where I live or my name. They said your name will be exposed, theres no way around that. Not sure what will happen to them but I hope they dont find out where I live or if they see my gallardo on the highway again, what they'd do. This sucks.

Wow. I cant imagine how mad he must be about his car. Such jealous assholes these days. I bet you if he was driving some ordinary car, that incident would of never happened.. but no.. people are just fucking jealous that he has a Gallardo. Hearing stuff like this pisses me off. :disappoin
I hope the assholes who vandalized his car get locked up and have to pay for the damage, that is not right what they did. :nono:

First of all, he was stupid for even following them. You can't trust anyone these days and anyone I see in a vehicle like that do something stupid like throw a bottle at your car I pretty much assume has weapons. Hell yea i profile people :thefinger:. I went to school with enough gang members to know what to look for.
Secondly, it was all jealousy, b/c someone worked hard or was just lucky enough to have the right parents to afford a car they think that justifies them doing shit like this. I hope they catch these worthless fucks, even though they'll be back on the street in a day b/c our criminal justice system likes to slap people on the wrist and say "don't do that again".

Saw a CL55 AMG on cinder blocks in NYC once with heads and tails missing....was in Midtown as well. Must have not bought the extra wheel locks as an option. What the hell is wrong with people these days

I would be too busy gawking at the car to be able to throw my 40 at it.

If I had the money to buy a gallardo, I think I would splurge and buy a bulletproof windshield too. Couldn't hurt.

Wheel locks will only make it longer for them to take the wheels. But if they want the wheels, trust me, they'll get the wheels.

Locking nuts don't do shit, in some cases they make it even easier to nick the wheels.
Haha, that story reminds me of this one segment of "Motorway Patrol" where this one dumbass bougan got a Bourbon bottle thrown at his Mazda 626 hatch (On cHrOmEz y0) and the police found him chasing the guy at 190 Km/h down the motorway. He lost his lisense.
I love New Zealand, the only people who do that are hoodrats in POS Mitsubishi's, usually dumbass Skinny white kids, who don't even have the connections to get guns.

Interesting that this story is posted today. I saw my first Gallardo on the street this afternoon. Too bad it was heading the other way. :(

From the board -
The Detective called me today and asked me "what am I looking to do" He said I could:
1. Press charges for damage of property, aggrivated assault, and discharge of firearm
- a: Meaning I would have to identify them in a police line up. (I am sure I can identify the one who fired the gun and somewhat sure about the driver)
b: This could expose my name and address.
2. Take it to criminal court whatever that means.
3. Drop the case.
What would you do?

Who cares if his name is exposed, I would press charges and make them pay for the damage. Those fucks will probably locked up anyway for possession of firearms. :nono:
