Question for 2003-2006 5.3L owners

Do any 2004 - 2006 5.3L's say "Vortec 5300" on the intake shield? I know the 2005 6.0 VHO says "Vortec 6000" on the intake shield. Here is what I mean, this is jethro_3's truck (sorry for borrowing the pic)

If it's 6000 it's 6.0L, 5300 = 5.3

Theif, Theif!!!! jokes, glad to know I am published. That is a 2005, but as far as I know the 5.3 VHO might and the 6.0 does. From what I'm told..... Dealer, unreliable source....

By the way that "dirt" look on the hose is like a chalk and does not come off easy....

Can't speak for the 5.3 liter engine. However my 2004 6 liter Vortec 6000 is clearly marketed and noticeable on the air intake housing

my 2000 has that sticker, but its says 4800, cauz I got a wee baby V8. The funny thing is, I have had this truck for about a year and a half and I just noticed it last week when I changed my battery. Weird.

My intake cover only says Vortec. But are you talking about the cover over the intake or the sticker on the stock air filter box?

wow blender ur really into that damn cover lol. i hate mine. somethin in my subconscious hates plastic covers on my engines. my dad just bought a hemi charger and that thing takes giant useless gaudy plastic cover to a new level. he wont let me take it off tho. seems to me like thes auto makers could spend their money on good looking intake manifolds instead of elaborate covers and a lot of people would be happier. sorry to rant. he hasnt been lettin me drive the car so i been a bit punchy lately.

My 2005 only says vortec as well
