Hey there, been helped with many problems by the great guys on this forum! My problem is once in a while, about every 5 - 6 startups, the truck sputters for about 2 seconds, then it's fine. Had the catalytic converter and both O2 sensors replaced about a month ago. Also when i get on the highway a push down the gas pedel, it almost hesitates to speed up. Seems to me that there may still be something obstructing the exaust manifold, but the muffler was also replaced before the Cat and O2's......At a loss. Any sugestions?...Thanks!

your cpi is leaking fuel causing your cat and 02 sensor problems ...
search on this forum and the Chevy Blazer forum:
cpi
nut kit
washing
plenum
very common problem for 95s

Well, after checking the plenum it was very dirty, lots of carbon, no gold washing. So the cpi is not leaking. Put it back together and left the air intake off, fired it up and sprayed carb cleaner through while throttling. The engine came back to life!....After a good cleaning figured it was a fuel related problem...not getting enough!. Changed the fuel filter and couldn't even blow through it....It runs a good as new!....Wow...what a cheap fix!

A tune -up would do wonders for this truck too, since it was running lean for so long....
