Front end is out of my 1965 chevelle SS. ready to start ordering parts. What front springs and suspension kits seem to be the best. changing from small to big block.. will need to change the sway bay also. thanks in advance

i rebuilt my front suspension with a polygraphite kit from P-S-T great company and well worth it.it was my first time redoing a suspensioin by myself so it took a lil longer than expected.but great performance afterwards.with some good KYB shocks.

I did the same with KYB shocks, 1" sway bar from a 75 Nova, steering box from a 91 Trans Am, also used the spindals and disk brakes from the Nova. A second Gen f-body are the same. The steering box from these cars are a direct fit and will give you about 7 turns lock to lock compared with about 12 turns on your original box. The later box that I used is about 3 turns but requires changing to the newer style of power steering hose and steering column.
