A buddy at work has been dying to race my 94 lude si. no mods yet. he has exhaustwork and a short ram in a 2001 Stratus ES he has a v6 in his, BUT its an automatic. i have a 5speed. think i could win? havent raced him yet. whadya think?? Maybe i can post a win.

Prelude: 160 hp, 2.3-liter 4-cylinder
Stratus: 2.7-liter dual-cam V6 rated at 200 horsepower. It comes standard with a four-speed automatic with AutoStick.
01 Stratus: 1/4 mile 16.3 seconds @ 87mph
94 Prelude: 1/4 mile 15.9
I'd say it depends on the driver. If you can shift and get it to catch at the right times then I'd say you probably have it made.

The Prelude will pull if you drive it perfect....get a good launch and you got him.
