2000 camaro with 19k acceleration

can anyone give me an accurate time for a 2000 camaro v6 w/ series 2 motor 0-60 time and quarter mile time. Ive done some reasearch and all i have found is the 0-60 is under 7.5 seconds. thanks

Buy a gtech and find out what your car actually does not just what it should do...

Damn. Even the new ones??? That is right on par with my Grand Am GT. Not slow, but not fast either. Enough to get on the highway for sure. :lol:

I guess that might be right. Grand Am is a decent amount lighter.

What do you expect from a car thats rear wheel drive.. american and was considered an american icon?

The Grand Am is lighter by 400 pounds (give or take) and has only slightly less power. Granted, the drive wheels are different. Camaro will probably 'feel' stronger.
I would say the Camaro and the Grand Am GT would be a fairly decent race, with the Camaro pulling VERY slightly.

gt is quick off th eline and so is the camaro, but the extra torque on the higway will propel the camaro foward quicker for the better take off, i actually think my camaro runs about 15.2 with just a flowmaster exaust system

Is it an RS or Base V6?

that doesn't matter, really only matter if it has the y87 option or not

I just checked, the RS was a bit on the rare side (SLP) that year so it must be base, what's the y87 option?

im having forgetfulness... it does make a difference... RS and Y87 came with limited slip and a higher gear ratio. Y87 also had some other little goodies IIRC
