Do you mean swap a V6 in place of your inline 6?
Most people want to swap things the other way.
This question was answered just a few weeks ago, (ahem) by me.
Either way, its a difficult swap.

well, I've seen it done, there's a guy I know that took his '93 Cherokee w/ the 4.0 and put a Chrysler 360 V8. I asked him what he did he said he had to change his motor mounts, transmission, computer, radiator and hood. Of course, his Cherokee is lifted on 33s and he can afford to do that. Your best bet would be to just (I don't usually recommend this) go to a junkyard and do a motor swap from a wrecked Cherokee, 91-99.

Bet that is a beast of a jeep, ive looked around junkyards for a I6 no luck. But i have yet another question Ford of all people made a stright 6 300 anyone think that could be bolted and wired up?
