I think that Kevin (95 GSXracer) should be a mod! he knows the answers to 95% of the questions on here. does anyone else think this also??

I definetly agree with Black97GST. We need mods that do know what they are talking about when it comes to DSMs, somebody that knows that these cars from front to back, and somebody that knows that the number one thing besides a set of subs to have in the trunk is a tool box cause not having a tool box on hand at all times when cruising around town in these cars is suicide. :1:. We need something done soon cause then this whole thing will be resolved.

I agree he is the most knowledgable person on here, but maybe he doesn't want to do it. It is a big time committment.

You know it really sucks that Kevin is so burned out on DSMs, cause he would do great. :2cents:

I'm sure if Kevin wanted the job, he would have spoke up. It would have been handed to him on a silver platter. Don't try and push him into doing it, I wouldn't want to if I was him. He has better things to do, like fixing DSM's...

i think that a person of kevin's knowledge is a great person to be a mod, but i don't know if kevin wants to do it. it's not as easy as logging onto af and just reading through peoples posts, you actually have to take care of things, problems, issues, and whatnot. i think kevin is doing a great job just the way he is doing them, giving his input when needed, other than that he's all to himself, he doesn't have to put up with newbs bitching about this and that and everything under the sun so i vote that kevin stays as is.

im not trying to pressure Kevin into being a mod, im just stating my opinion like everyone else is, and im showing him how much everyone really appreciates his help.

Yeah, I taught Kev everything he knows.
:jump3: :cwm27: :silly: Yeah right, lol.
Anyways, I think he was asked a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, but he didn't have the time to mod, so he didn't accept. Could be wrong, but that's what I heard.

Thanks for the kind words guys ;)
It has been brought up to me several times since I joined. I tend to decline simply because I can't put in the time I used to on all the forums to be a good mod. I am still technically an admin on another forum (RKO, which I admitedly don't visit much these days, and it's slowed down tremendously), mod another forum, and am still a "Wiseman" on DSMtuners. Just the questions and logs I get daily in email and PMS are truly a handful. :) Time is the main issue, especially with my hectic work schedule and DSM schedule, and like most things I wouldn't want to do a half assed job. I've also got something pretty big in the works that is eating up all of my spare time, but more on that in a couple weeks. ;)
Thanks again guys, good to hear that people find my ramblings useful :)

I'm sorry if i haven't been around much for you guys, work's kickin my ass and all i ever want to do when i get back to my apartment is eat and go to bed, but i've tried upping my post count and helping out as much as i can again on here. I agree Kevin would make a great mod, i'm not denying that especially from his knowledge and he seems very patient, and we've even lost several mods in the last two weeks who decided that they spent to much time on AF and needed to quit for a while, so he would be helpful. If he wants it, i'll see what i can do.

I would be a good mod. I don't know much about anything, and I am pretty useless when it comes to turbos, but hey... it's ME! lol
Kevin is the man. BUT, if he doesnt have the time, then he shouldn't be one. You guys dont want spammers and little kids coming up in here posting all that crap like they used to and not get banned, do you? Good times though. Kevs the man
