I am looking to buy a metro soon and I have a few Q's...
Did all metros come with Fuel injection, or what years/models have F.I.?
Do any have A/C? P/S? P/B?
Any year/model to avoid?
What year did they switch to OBD 2?
I would like to find one that has the 3 cyl. eng. and the 5 spd. trans., with air, if that's possible. Any info you might have would be appriciated.

Well mine is a 93 , 1.0l engine, 5 speed transmision and ac + throtle body injection, OBD II started from 95-96 models, you can try the 4 cyl Metro with 1.3 engine you will have more power, better engine and peace of mind when you pass a truck at 70mph.
In my opinion you can t go wrong with any Metro upwards of 92 model.

There's really no years to avoid, they're all good cars. Anything older than a 93 I would check very closely for underbody rust around the front control arms. Common problem with metros that are driven in the snow. A lot of the LSi metros came with A/C. They all have power brakes, but you can't get power steering on anything older than a 95. And then P/S only came optional on the 1.3L engine, can't get it on the 1.0. Any north american Metro is fuel injected after 1988. OBD-II came into play in the 1996 and up metro's. Some late 95's may be equipped too. The 99-01 had MPFI and a SOHC 16v engine, along with A/C and P/S. So it got great MPG, and had more balls.
