exhaust system

I have a 96 max and I am planning on changing out my whole exhaust system from the headers back. I was looking for some input from people that have y-pipes, cats, and cat-back exhaust systems to see if I could get some advice on what to get. I want the final sound to be loud when I accelerate fast, but not loud when doing normal driving. I've heard that the Apex'i WS is a good catback exhaust that doesn't get loud untill 3500 rpm. Any info on single pieces or overall combinations would be appreciated.
