Heater core replacement

Anybody have any experience replacing the heater core? I've heard you basically have to rip apart the dash to get to it.

I haven't personally replaced one on a Malibu but you are correct that it is located under the glove box inside the car.

you have to rip out the dash to remove the heater/ac unit as a assy. Then you open the box and change the coil.
IT SUCKS
it is not hard just takes a lot of time.
First time I did it, I just followed the directions in a hanes manual
