What gear would be safe to rev the rpms to 5200? I tried 2nd gear at 80 mph and the engine roared loudly. I didn't do it too much because thought it may be bad for the engine or transmission.

it is safe to rev your rpm's up to 6100,

You say it's safe , but does it hurt the longevity of the engine.

I say probably so. But hey, what's the point of having a firebird if you don't drive it!!!!

ha :)
i agree with you, if we r talking about the longevity of the engine then yes, but i mean, it's not that bad, unless u have a good oil in your engine u r good to go up to 6200 :), rev it baby it sounds so damn sexy !!!
