wtb(want to buy) 5.0 mustang engine and trans

hey whats up guys i have an 88 mustang lx 2.3.....i want a 5.0 engine and matching trans... does n e one have any parts to buyi really need this engine and tranny combo...thanx. peace.

How about a 5.0 and AOD out of a 1987 Thunderbird , motor needs oil pan fixed (when car was wrecked the sway bar rubbed a whole in pan) , motor not hurt! Have a filter kit that goes with tranny ! ...cougar...

Hopefully I'm not too late. I am parting out my 1994 Mustang which has a 5.0 L and a 5 speed manual transmission. They both have about 150,000 miles on them. When I parked it the transmission and clutch worked fine. The motor ran also, but i had to replace the water pump and a couple bolts broke off inside the block. I removed the timing cover to gain access, but they are broke off inside. That is the only problem with the motor. It has sat for about 6 years so I would rebuild the motor first. Any machine shop can remove those broken bolts. Otherwise, if you want to put the time into rebuilding it, I have everything for it including wiring harness and computer. I am making a drag car out of the body, so all of the old stuff is going. I can give you a good deal on the computer, harness, motor, trans, and whatever else you need to turn your 4 banger into a V-8.
