I would like to lower my 2003 Yukon 2" front and 3" in back to customize the look and decrease that riduculous huge amount of space noted in the rear wheel well. I have added 22" tires and wheels but would like to fill that space a little bit better. My question:
Will lowering the vehicle cause any problems with the ride or towing capabilities ? What will it do to the ride of the vehicle ? Any real downside to lowering ?? Thanks for your help !! :smokin:

Lowering the vehicle could make the ride crappy if you use blocks... Use an Air Bag System or Drop Spindels to do the job. A little pricey but worth it in the long run...

I just lowered my '05 Yukon and it makes a big difference. I have spindels in the front and coils/shocks in the rear. My only recommendation is make sure you get shock extenders to maintain a smooth ride. If you don't get the shock extensions which is an extra $100 you will have a bouncy ride.
