I just recently bought a new motorola phone, the V635 obviousy as my thread title states. Now to the weird part. Shortly after i got the phone i notced some words were miss spelled. Such as "personalize" as "personalise" and "dialed" as "dialled". How does something like this happen? Motorola is a big cell phone company and there are words that are spelled wrong. I plan on calling the company tomorrow because i think its completely stupid that they would have simple words spelled wrong on their phones.
Sorry, just pisses me off that i look at this shit everytime i open my phone.

maybe whoever was programming the phones initially was stoned or busted, heck anything can happen when you're out of it. That or the programmer is a complete moron and has the I.Q. of a pencil.

That's how they are correctly spelled in English.
It's just Motorola acknowledging that Americans speak a pirated version of English :thefinger

Yeah, but my GF also has a motorola (v330) and those same words are spelled differently on her phone. So why would 2 phones from the same company have them spelled differently?

hehe, yeah i dont need the camera but it still has one. My main complaint on the samsung was when i would lay in bed and get calls/txts
i would have service but 2 seconds later it would be gone. That was very frustrating.

its not possible to say we would have/wouldn't have won without american assistance, i beleive that the americans did help tip the war over for us to win, but some things infuriate me, such as films like "U571" which is a total lie, the british caputred the enigma machine, and the code book and we crazked the enigma, oh an the first real computer was british, built by a postman.
sorry for the rant but im really pro-british sometimes. and i think we should all know the truth.

Do some research on where the phones were built, or where the software was written. Your phone isn't spelling the words wrong, it's just spelling them in UK (or rest of world) English, instead of American English. Sounds like your GF's phone was built in the US.
Look on the bright side, the phone might teach you to spell properly :)
