i FINALLY got the pix of my truck after paint, int. comming soon, the blazer forum has a blazer picture thread, so lets make this the truck picture thread... c'mon lets see um

Wow, awsome truck man. If i had a pic of my truck I would be embarassed to post it after such a awsome ride.

Ok imagine an 89 S-10 Ext Cab, rusty wheels, new tires. Rust on every body panel but one (the hood which has a dent that i don't know where the heck it came from). Its black, and is Always dirty, and the passenger door is a different shade of black, and has no trim.
That is my truck.

hey, its yours, if you want somethin new looken, pick up some sand papper, and paint, it realy isn't all that hard to do....and thanks for the complement, ive put a lot of time and money into the damn thing

I have started on body work... It just seems like its a never ending task. I want to get new fenders, hood, bed, and doors. Then all I have to fix is the extended cab part where it is rusted through. Paint it charchoal with black racing stripes (do all the work myself). Then 96+ engine/trans and seats.

That is my plan, I hope to work on it more this summer, when I'm back at home where the shop is, but I am broke as #%$& now...college sucks in that respect.

btw, love the e- sunroof, mines only a std one but it was top of the line when new... its 8 years old and my buddies think its brand freaking new

black int??? omg tets trade trucks! mines std cad too, thats why i got the spoiler model sunroof. (well, it was aready there when i bought it.) does your sunroof flip up, or does it give it some open area?

ok. i not really going to do any of these things, of course, but to see the expressions of peoples faces when the blade starts moving, or the turret begins taking aim.

it pops up low pro, pops up all the way for max vent, and is removable

Doug, That's 1 SWEET ride! I love the paint and it was worth the extra time spent.

Too bad that we'll have to yank the seat out of the box to fit that 670hp motor back there :evillol:

thanks overboard, i gotta do a little touch-up paint, but other than that its a great looking truck. Still need to put on an exhaust, i want to do dual, but i think thats going to wait till after winter.

i've had some issues with my windows and the police, are these really too dark?? Maybe i've gotten used to 'em! i can see IN just fine too.

its aftermarket. I fell in love with that sunroof as soon as i saw it at the dealer. (that and the dark-a$$ windows).

I do like dark windows, but I understand the cops point.
They want to be able to clearly see the driver while driving. See if they look too wasted to drive safely.

My Blazer windows are the factory tint, so they can't say much.

i've seen so many s-10 single cabs with them around that darkness. Not saying for sure that they have been as dark. hell i like them because of the look. i have no reason to be hiding a gun in my lap waiting for the next police officer, why do i need to, when that turret is attatched to my truck?

Thanks. Since that pic I have added 1.5 wheel spacers on the rear and Bilstein Shocks. This helped raze it and make the rear wider. I am going to do a 2" body lift and go with 17" wheels as soon as I can swing the $$$$.

I tried to post it but couldn't. After a long day at work my mind was blown out. You can see I have the dark windows also. I love em. So far I've seen some hot trucks here. I have a 95 Blazer also. I'd like to see more of that sun roof, The pic's posted where kinda dark. I wish I could do a sun roof but my overhead would be in the way. My cap has factory carpet and I am looking to boot it to the truck but have not found a way yet. Love to make it more part of the truck. Thanks Again

Nice Eric, I have had two 1st Gen pickups so if you ever have any questions I'm here for ya. I still have some things laying around for em. Like a pro rebuilt 2.8 with a power cam and chrome valve covers. Its been sitting on a engine for years and now I have nothing to put it in. I also have a set of Westin nurf bars still in the box. All offers considered.

Nothing too spectacular, but I like it, plus it's my first vehicle.

So far BC Canada boys have 2 trucks shown, And the resale price of them together adds up to less than any other truck here.

I don't know about well taken care of. :D It's a '93 and it has 250,000km! And I'm the 6th owner :confused: . Apparently the last 2 owners didn't know what was wrong with it though and kept reselling it. It was just a bad egr. :D

Here is my S10. Actually it is a 1984 GMC S15 with a 1991 Chevy grille. I have totally rebuilt it for my daily driver. This picture was taken last summer, but currently it is in pieces as I am replacing the motor. I will get current pics soon.

But I found a gas door in my clutter of parts and it needed some work. I've got a long list of mods I have done to it since that picture. Maybe I'll start my own truck page.

There pretty fast photo's loading on 56K. Mine are pretty much the worst.

High speed sure would be nice.

i can't deal w/o highspeed
1. no landline
2. no modem in comp (needed room for videocard)
3. too slow for my usual d/l (games, dvd rips)

No cable, or high speed hookups where I live, so I don't have a choice :disappoin

body kit came off e bay from 'hot rides of kc' user, and what do you mean how much to have a sun roof installed? get a damn sawlzall and cut! lol, if your a noobie, i dont reccomend it, but it was 200 bucks for the glass and frame (cousins cost 2 years ago brand new, smashed his truck, got the sunroof and lowering kit for under 400 bucks, lucky me) and we made the template, checked, had a beer, then checked again and rechecked, a beer later, we cut the hole, then put the truck into the paint booth, then sealed it up with black rtv

I've done the body on my topaz once, although it's been redone professionally after my mom borrowed it and banged it up.

Plus I did all the work on my Blazer.

And I'm working on a 1929 Essex coupe, and a 71 Tripple E motorhome.

Plus I have a 1927 Essex sedan that I'm doing when these are both done.

I'm basicly self taught after reading about how to do bodywork, watching others, and asking on forums.

thats how i am with under the hood. i just never got into body work, I'll pay to improve the cosmetics on my truck or take a class on it and get some practice before even thinking about messing with my truck.

There are some free ones, like Car Domain, just do a google search.
