question to owners

i am looking at a use 02' xtype for 18000$ it is a 2.5 auto is it a good deal? On the stereo it has the cd player slot on the dash, and under it a CD and a CDC button what does the CDC button do? Also on the head light knob you can pull it out to two positions, i know one if fog lights what is the other? please answer the questions and give me any other feedback on the car thankyou.

CDC switches to the (optional) CD changer. The second pull-out position on the headlamp button is for rear foglights.

Not sure about the deal, you should research it though and not assume it's a good price.

I have an 03 2.5 automatic. I bought it new and now have 30k on it. I highly reccomend the vehicle - I really enjoy driving mine. Don't know about the deal. You didn't mention the mileage on the car, and, whether or not it's a certified car from a dealer with the extended 100K warranty.

Deal wise.....I don't think it's great. I was able to pick up a 3.0 AWD for $16K. Had 50K miles. I always check Kelly Blue Book and NADA for references.

I have a chance to buy a 2002 jaguar x-type 2.5 manual trans. I read a lot of bad reviews on this car and was wondering if i should really go with it? maybe somebody can give me some insight on what they know about these cars?
