Hey this week Krazy Krazy Audio Visual is coming to town with car decks and I wanna put one in my 92 GP. How would i go about removing my stock radio and tape deck...also i realize that car decks that are going to be sold there wont take up the whole slot what do i do with the excess room?

There are 4 screws that hold the facia around the radio on, two inside the glove box door, and two on the drivers side. Then there are 4 nuts (10mm I think) that retain the radio in the dash. They make vehicle specific mount kits that will make the radio fit the opening, but since the hole in your dash isn't very deep, the new radio will stick out about 1-1/2" farther than the stock one. It took me less than 45 minutes to put a radio in my 91. Whatever you do, don't buy a Sony Xplode, they sound like crap at higher volumes, and the displays wash out in the sun.
