Viper300 disabled ignition

I purchased a car with the viper 300 in it. I just pulled the fuse to kill it but the car would not start. I pulled the entire brain unit out and again the car would not start. I put it all back together (fuse and plug the brain back in)...to try to reset, I pulled the battery cable off for a few minutes but still no start...

Any suggestions? I have the battery disconnected until tomorrow to see if something needs to reset.

Thanks,

I don't know anything about car alarms, but is it possible that the alarm is made so that if the fuse is pulled to disable the alarm (assuming someone trying to jack the car would pull the fuse). That the alarm is made with an ignition kill switch in it so that when the alarm gets no power, neither does the starter? And there is a time delay before it resets itself to allow the car to start?

Just wondering

*Edit* Is there a reset switch on the alarm? What kind of car is this alarm in?

I have dealt with viper (DEI) stuff before. Do you have the instruction manual for the alarm ?

The problem...I tapped into the powered with key cable running to the brain...that killed it. I cut the wire and it started up this morning...didn't have to walk to work :) Thanks
