i just got a 97 contour and there is a hole leak around the flex pipe on the front. i need to get a new one, but i know that its all one section at the front... does anyone know where i can get a new one? new or used will do as long as it doesn't have a hole in it. and remember use duct tape to fix anything:biggrin: except your exhaust or you will lose your car!

common sense places like the dealership, ebay, junkyard, CEG classifieds.

Or just replace the whole unit with a off road test pipe from trubendz for like $70.

got it fixed... the problem is this no one has this part and you can't just replace it with any piece it has to be the whole stupid thing. trubendz does not carry this part. what i did was cut out the old flex pipe all together and welded a new one... and just for reference to anyone who may also need this part i do have the part number but not on hand but i do remember the price from ford. BRACE YOURSELF. they want $1,186.83 no joke... thats just for the part..... the guy at the dealer said the only other car that costs more than that for the same part is a probe.

trubendz does not carry this part.

trubendz y-pipe. With or without cat. Take your pick. Retains flex pipe.

Or pay as little as $70 and get the a test pipe which will replace your flex pipe. You cant get it with or without cat. One with cat is $130.

Are you sure they understood what you were talking about? It lists y-pipes and test pipes right on their website.
