mountain run *video*

hey i have a video of a mountian run me and some friends did on friday and saturday...i need someone to host the video so i can post it up

1st run was on beryessa to anguin road...
2nd run was dryh creek to trinity road

how big? i could prolly host it. pm or email me

about 50 megs...its kinda large, lemme chop it up some toinght and ill have you host it, how small should i get it?

im sure hell be able to host it, i just have to download this video and my race video, i think ill do it sunday tho becuase im supposed to race hat civic 1 on 1 this time...ill post em all up (but choped up)

and btw its more like a drive than a mountian run, we never got about 90, we pretty much just said try to stay abouve 60 the whole time

itll come up as soon as i can find anything to host, a person site or anything....and i tried using putfile and streetfire.net but the file is way to large

naw i onlyy drive the hard roads :)

i maily drive the anguin beryessa, and alot of veeder/redwood road
we just tried out pretty much the last road i havnt been on, trinity....its from redwood up mt veder but you hang a left and go down dry creek, its pretty challenging, but it puts you out way past sonoma in a town called muy caligente....and its a good 45 minut drive back if you dont take the mountain :(

the only drive i dont think ive done is oakville grade, maily becuase it takes a good 25 minuts just to drive out tehre (3 towns away) but we have plans on runnin that as soon as i get my new azenis

you have a 510 right? you ever see that guy named dennises 510, the one with dual carbs that was painted dark blue with the baby blue racing stripes? that thing was clean, up untill he crahsed it....

my 510 is allmost ready to hit the mountain roads again, it's been off the road getting an intake upgrade (dual sidedrafts :evillol: ). i need to do something about the exaust (way too loud with new carbs) before i can drive it for any extended period (cops have echo-location)

no, i don't think i ever saw the bule on blue car you speak of a friend of mine once had a blue/light blue car, but it was light blue with dark stripes not the other way around.

trinity is sweet. i don't like the roads near the lake because there alwawys is some guy haulin' a boat who refuses to get out of the way. i love the veeder/dry creek loop, and occasionally i'll do oakville grade for some fast downhill. wild horse valley rd. is nice too, good pavement surface. if you have a good suspension, the back of howell mtn. rd. is practically rallystyle, crap pavement, but fun.

the azenis is an awesome tire, it is what i run on the 510, watch out though, winter is right around the corner so save your other tires when you put the azenis' on, they aren't any good at all on wet pavement. i can spin the tires all the way through 4th gear with them in the rain.

yea, im runnin xiexi 512's right now, best tire in the rain/good on dry for your buck

FUCK YES, last tiem i went up to beryessa i had some fucker in a corolla pullin a boat (dont ask), sounded like he wasnt going to make it but everytime i went to pass the dickhead would block the road...what for? i dont know but needless to say he got passed on the inside of a turn on some gravel and got a shitload of rocks thrown up at his car...
howell mtn sucks ass, almost as bad as going up soda canyon, id never do a run up there becuase of all the bumps and how easy it would be to pop a tire coming down from one

trinity, and anguin have to be the 2 best roads to do out here, no poeple and both are fairly long (trinity is about 2 seconds one takes about 10 minuts to get through the other takes about 15) and anguin beryessa is a good 30 minut run

i have alot of vid, but most is 1/4 races with people and pulln e's...im tryin to piece together a vid but i havnt been out much lately cuz of work and school

you should do a run with us, another guy on this site (bluecelica or sumthin like that) is goin on a run with me in a lil bit, we actually hung out about 3 weeks ago and i drove his car around and viceversa

that sounds like it would be fun.....but like i said the car isn't quite ready. i would go with my pick-up, but someone is coming over to watch a movie tonight.

this weekend i'm going to mess around with the car a bit, do some shakedown runs, maybe then?
