mustang transmission swap???

anyone know how to swap the 4r70w automatic transmission and converting to a t-5 manual??? i know i can swap it easy, mounting the pedal and installing wont be hard but are there electronic/wiring problems, anything get in the way??? any info from someone who has done it would be awesome. i always wanted the 5 speed and right now my auto is starting to slip so i figured i'd look into it.

and if anyone has any info on the t-56 6speed swap too. just for some new knowledge about it has anyone ever done that one???

Good Luck, it's a lot of work but definetly worth it. I'm just finishing a swap on my son's 1990 convertible. We spent over 100 hours and are just about done, although some of that time was spent changing the LX trim to GT. It's back on the road and he's loving it. There are several good, but not entirely acurate, articles online. I would hightly recommend finding a donor car to get the majority of your parts from.
