I recently just purchased an 89 Corolla SR5 because of the soaring gas prices here in toronto. The car is excellent when it comes to gas mileage and is in fairly good shape. But the only thing that bugs me is that it is just too slow for me. My buddy suggested to put a cold air intake to give it a lil bit of extra juice. I really do not have a lot of knowledge about cars and engines so I just want to know if I can put a cold air intake into this carburated engine and if it will be a hassle to do it. Any instructions and suggestions on how to do it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

basically a pipe from throttle body to underneath the car, if you drive it in deep puddles of water and such, make you sure buy a bypass valve to stop the water getting into the intake :D
