Hi guys,
I am moving from south Georgia to northeast Ohio soon, so I will not be around much for awhile. Does anybody know of any modeling clubs or groups up there? Does anybody here live up there?

I live in central ohio and I think there is one club here in Columbus that I know of, but I haven't really looked. There should be some up there with Cleveland and all its suburbs.

Well, there is an Ohio chapter of the IPMS, and I believe there's also a Northern Ohio auto modelers club but I'm not 100% sure.
Since I'm in Cleveland, I can give you a good show around to the local hobby shops (we've got a ton, Parma Hobby, Wings Hobby, Southeast Hobby, Hobbys ETC, and three slot car tracks). As far as clubs, NE Ohio is mostly railroad, but it's top of the line for hobby shops, slot car racing, and even full size racing.

Wow South Ga. To North Ohio......just in time for winter! (You know they're wearing long sleeves up there already) I do occasional business in the Akron area and I know there is a hobby shop a few blocks within the Goodyear blimp hanger. I'll try to get some details for you. I escaped from the North in the 80's & will never leave Ga. again.

I am from the Youngstown area, the majority of the area is Railroading as mentioned earlier. The Akron/Canton area should offer more in the way of car modeling, I know the hobby shop by the Lockheed hanger even has an asphault RC track.
