Hello, I want to put an edelbrock square bore carb on my 86 chevy k10.
Will I need an adapter between the new carb and the stock intake manifold? The truck has the rochester quadrajet on it now but it never wants to start hot or cold and it has to warm up forever or it will die when put into gear.

Yes you will need a spredbore to square bore adapter, although these are not recommended as they restrict flow. You're better off getting a edelbrock dualplane Perfofmer manifold these are dual patern. Or you could get a Holley spreadbore.
