Got a speeding ticket

I was in Pasadena trying to find a buddies house, on Sierra Madre. I'm lost, and looking all over the place. Some dude in a Hemi Station Wagon revs his motor by me. I made eye contact with him, and focused in on smoking the shit out of his wannabe muscle car. He has this big smirk on his face. I was like, man this guy must be nuts, doesn't he know how fast LS1 F bodies are. Nope, he was smiling cause he bated me into getting a ticket. I didn't realize there was a cop a couple cars back from me in the far left hand lane. I ran with him from the get go, and then decided to get on it, and see if he would follow. He didn't but the cop did :p I guess the cop thought I was gonna try to outrun him or something, cause he fucking peeled out sideways, almost hitting the back of my car when I stopped on the side of the road, and then he proceeded to run out of his car. LOL . Cool cop though, he only gave me a speeding ticket, though it is for doing 25 mph over the speed limit, so I know that it's gonna be expensive. He seemed to keep mentioning contesting it, making it sound like he isn't going to go to court, so I figure I might as well show up for the hearing. Oh well, I haven't had a ticket in years (About 10 years since my last speeding ticket). I'm looking forward to traffic school and Red Asphalt :D

Wait...the guy in the wagon suckered you into speeding so you would get a ticket?? Who does that?!?!?! and 25 over sucks but yeah theres alot worse...
In Toronto they can get you on street racing just by seeing you peeled out at a light or stop sign with another car beside you, if they get you they take your car and your license and send you home, then you have a court appearance to prove you didnt race (which basically comes to your word against the cops)

rule of thumb....check all surroundings before racing.... ;)

Yeah Matty, I called you to warn you about those Hemi dudes. They can't win stoplight drags like the commercials, but they can kill you on baiting you into a ticket.
The guy was an asshole, hopefully he crashes his car. No worries though, cause considering how fast I got out of the hole, i'm happy he didn't destroy my car. I can still go to traffic school, and have no points on my record.
On a real negative note though, I can literally feel my car's body bend, and move over almost a full lane in my 2nd gear shift. It's insane how much body movement my car is having. I hope the drag radials i'm putting on it cure it.

You should have told the cop that the guy in that wagon pointed a gun at you.lol jk
That sucks. At least the cop was cool about it.

Sucks, but if he mentioned contesting it repeatedly, then he is probably going to at least work with you into lowering it to a lesser charge.
Good luck
