oil question

ive noticed alot lately that when my car is sitting at a stop sign or a light that my oil gauge seems to go down and i can slightly hear my lifters if im sitting for a while so i know my cars not getting enough oil to the engine but when i start to go the gauge goes back up and all seems normal again and i have been noticing over the past few months that my cars starting to eat up some oil but i figure thats just cus of the piston seals right? but my question is do you guys think i need a new oil pump? and if so how much do they run and how much for instalation do you think thanx.

the oil guage is supposed to go down when the car is stopped. you know you have oil issues when the oil light come on in your dash.

oh and about the ticking, its normal bro, you'll learn to live with it.
