1994 heater problems

My Bird is having some problems. My heater is blowing cold air, and there is a ticking noise coming from inside the dash somewhere. I think the two problems might be related, but I have no idea.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. It makes that ticking noise regardless of whether or not the heater or a/c is on.

Are both heater hoses getting quite warm?

man i gotta get on earlier in the day cause bird gets all the answers b4 i get here--he is right ya know--need to have both the supply and return hoses getting hot or you have a clogged core or air pocket

I checked and they are both hot.

I think it might be an electrical problem, thus the ticking noise. I'm just not sure what it could be.

It is probably the blend door actuator. Go to page 24 or 25 and look for the thread titled "heater 94 t-bird" by J ROC812004 and look on the first page of the thread where I tell him how to run diagnostics and let us know if any codes show up.

ok, i ran diagnostics and 02 showed up.

yep sounds like actuator they have plastic gears in them i believe and the strip at times------- bird thats kool cuz i will be there too --who's your boy? i'm with the little guy 6 after daveys wreck i like biffle and busch as well---
