How do I race?

I know its a stupid question to ask. Fact is I just recently got into cars and became what some would call obsessed. I have a 1996 Prelude h23. And my first day racing at the tracks will be a week from now, so im tryin to soak up all the racing tips i need for better et's. PLEASE HELP

Learn how to launch correctly. Don't simply rev up and dump the clutch. Feathering will net you better results.

Yep, try not to spin the tires too much. Also, focus on your reaction time, DONT do a burnout before, bunrouts make street tires less grippy. Other than that, dont blow a shift and you should be fine.

yeah like balancing the clutch and gas to acheive a good balance of grip and power.

be curtious, dont stage till the next guy is pre stages, etc, i think theres a writeup on this in another forum, or maybe this one.

Yeah, if the guy would decide to release his 92-96 kit already. You have no idea how long this guy is taking to release it. I've been talking to him for 2 years now and it still isn't out. If you have a 4th gen, you should just go forbidden motorsports instead.
