So here I was reading the vfaq about installing a 16g turbo. Well I got my new turbo today and the 2g install kit and I am curious as to if I am missing anything. I am sorry for the poor picture quality as didn't have my digital camera on me. I had to use my web cam.

Also. I haven't done my fuel mods but soon. But I was wondering if it is possible to install the new turbo and just run low boost and be alright until my fuel upgrades are installed. Also what kind of time am I looking at to install this new turbo? And does anyone have any tips or warnings about the install?

I did mine around a month or so ago. I cant really tell what you have by the picture. AS far as the install goes, its not all that bad. pulling the turbo is easy. Just make sure you drain your oil. For my coolant i just dumped it into a bucket under my car and then topped it off when i was done. Also make sure you put all of the banjo bolts and the return line on and make them realy tight before you put the turbo on caude it is hard to get to them when the turbo is installed. You will probably have a problem or two but overall the install isnt all that hard. As far as boost you can run 14 psi on the stock fuel system without worrying about damaging anything.

well from what i can see it looks like it is all there. What about your new gaskets? I see the turbo gasket. I put the evo3 big 16g in mine pretty quick, A few hours, only because i cleand some other shit up while i had things apart. I have no fuel upgrades yet neither, but i am upgrading to a 190 rewired pump tho. I just had a post on it and i got good replies on putting it in my car. Was running 20psi but they said to turn down a little. Now i have it set at 16psi for now. I go to the track tuesday to see what will happen ;). GL man

The reason I asked about that is because on vfaq they had a comparasion to some crazy oil feed return line that looked all hightech and I know my kit didn't come with that. So I shouldn't even worry about replacing that? Yeah I have all the gaskets so I'm not worried about it.

you can use your stock return tube, just need to oval the holes a little on the turbo side and get different bolts. Let me see if i can find a picture of it done for you

it looks all there cant really tell....youre gonna have to take a more detailed pic of just the pieces. Did you get yours from extremepsi.com? If so, look at my gallery and if you have everything in there then youre fine or just look for a thread of mine where i asked the same question. ALso, do not use that cheap ass return line from them. It sux ass. Trust me on this. if you install it, you will regret it. those threads are not made for liquid coming through them. i have oil leaking all the time from the oil pan side and when i get some money im just gonna get a 94 gsx return line from the dealer or sbr.

The install is pretty straightforward as these guys have been saying. I think its worth it to take the time and change as many of the water lines as you can when you do it. I spent two weekends doing mine and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. I went to Advanced Auto Parts probably a dozen times but they had similar lines. The reason I say to replace the water lines is that most of the ones on my car were very brittle. Taking the turbo out give you such easy access to them. Its worth doing the preventative maintence.
I can't tell from the kit, but the only hitch you might have is running to the stock IC. I know the LIC hose didn't reach to the end of the J-Pipe for me. I used a J-pipe from a 1g though. Yours looks a little longer so it might not be a problem. I wrote about it before and I'd be glad to provide more details but I cut the stock LIC hose in the middle of the S part and put in an 11" piece of exhaust pipe to make it work. I haven't had a problem with it yet. I did need to get a longer flexible lower radiator hose to make it work.
I also suggest taking off all of the hoses from the throttle body back to the turbo (UICP-S, UICP-J, LICP) cleaning them out a bit and re-fastening them on. When you have everything out it's very easy to do the job and retightening everything will give you some assurance there won't be boost leaks in that part of the system.
I did the fuel pump rewire but I can't run more than 12 psi. I think I'm having battery/alternator issues which is limiting me. I get knock if I go any higher (say the pocketlogger). I'm going to do 190 soon. I'd recommend the rewire and a bigger fuel pump but until then, try to keep it around 12. I also have stock exhaust it might be limiting me a bit, but better safe than sorry if you don't have a logger and can't be certain.
